Dr. John Gorecki is a Northside Hospital neurosurgeon with more than 30 years treating conditions of the brain and spine. His practice spans cranial and spine surgery, with particular depth in deep brain stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson's disease and Essential Tremor. Referring physicians across Atlanta and North Georgia send him many of their most complex cases.

He completed his neurosurgical training at the University of Toronto and held faculty appointments at Duke University and the University of Mississippi. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
